It tells the story of three very different families vying to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they believe will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano both appeared in the Ice Age series (2002-present). I always tend to get a little nervous when such big names are involved in a Netflix limited series. But it felt like this cast really delivered and lived up to all expectations. Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow have a certain chemistry that was perfect for this story. I’m always happy to see Linda Cardellini in a role like this too. Great pacing, appropriate tension, plenty of comedic relief. This one time I wasn’t expecting a twist ending and every plot thread felt resolved by the final episode. I really enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a palette cleanser in this new, fast-paced streaming world.
